Mount Dora Police Invite Public to Memorial Ceremony for Retired K-9

MOUNT DORA, Fla. (May 19, 2016) – It is with great sadness that we announce on May 18, 2016, the Mount Dora Police Department lost a valued member of our police family. Retired K-9, Brisko passed unexpectedly from what is suspected to be cancer.  Brisko served the City of Mount Dora posthumously for seven years and was 11 years old when he passed.

We would like to invite the community to attend and honor Brisko’s service to the community. The Mount Dora Police Department will hold a memorial ceremony at 9am, on Friday, May 27, 2016, in the front parking lot of Police Headquarters located at 1300 N. Donnelly St., Mount Dora.
